The rules of the game
What you agree to when you book an activity with WP-Journeys, in plain words.
Who we are
WP-Journeys, at wp-journeys.com, is run by Przemysław Walicki, Tenerife, Spain. Phone: +48 572 432 122. The e-mail address is on the Contact page.
These terms say how you book tourist and sports activities with us, what we ask of participants and how complaints work. A client can be any person with full legal capacity, and in the cases allowed by law also a person with limited legal capacity, a company or another organisation.
What we offer
We organise tourist and sports activities in Tenerife, in particular canyoning (wet and dry), coasteering and hiking trips. The description, the meeting point, the duration and the level of difficulty are on the page of each activity. Prices are gross prices in euro (EUR).
Booking and payment
You choose an activity, a date and the number of people, and send us the request. The contract is made when you receive our confirmation of the booking. The confirmation says how and when to pay.
We are not responsible for contact details given wrongly by the client that make it impossible to send the confirmation or news about changes.
Health, sobriety and age
Health: the client declares that every person they sign up is in a state of health that allows physical activity with increased risk and has no medical reasons against it, such as heart problems, epilepsy or serious orthopaedic injuries.
Sobriety: nobody takes part under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The guide may refuse to take that person, with no right to a refund.
Age: for minors we need the written consent of a legal guardian or the guardian taking part, as described on the page of the activity.
The guide decides
For safety reasons participants must follow the instructions of the instructor or guide without exception.
Insurance
The price includes the basic insurance that local law requires for this kind of activity. We still recommend your own travel insurance that covers extreme or high risk sports.
Weather and cancellations
We may cancel a day or change the route because of the weather or another event outside our control. You then choose a new date or a full refund. Your own cancellation is free more than 48 hours before the start and not refunded later. The full rules are on the Cancellations page.
Complaints
You have the right to complain when the contract was not performed or was performed badly. Send the complaint by e-mail with your details, the date of the activity and a description. We reply within 14 days of receiving it.
Personal data
The controller of your personal data is Przemysław Walicki. The rules are described in the Privacy Policy.
Final provisions
Matters not covered by these terms are governed by Spanish law and, for consumers from Poland, by the Polish and EU rules that protect consumers. The terms apply from the day they are published on this site.
