Good fitness and a long day. There is a shorter option with the cable car for the first part.
Teide, 3718 m. The highest point in Spain, on foot, above the clouds. You can walk the whole mountain from Montaña Blanca or ride the cable car up and climb only the final cone, the part that needs a permit.
The permit for the summit is limited and books out weeks ahead. Tell us your dates early and we take care of it, together with the cable car tickets if you want them.
The start time depends on the route and the permit slot.
A slow, steady pace. Altitude is the hard part, not the path.
The crater, the smell of sulphur and the shadow of the mountain on the sea of clouds.
On foot or by cable car, as planned.

No. Tickets are bought separately and we help you book the right slot.
It happens in winter. We move the day or walk another high route in the park.
Most people feel it a little. We walk slowly, drink a lot and turn round if someone feels unwell.
