Comfortable with heights and water. You can swim. No experience needed.
The classic wet canyon of Tenerife, cut into the Teno mountains above Los Carrizales. You walk in through terraced fields, zip into a wetsuit and follow the water down: abseils beside the falls, jumps into deep pools, slides polished by a few thousand winters.
Every jump has a way round it, so you decide how brave today is. The guide goes first, sets every rope and stays within arm's reach on the abseils.
Gear check, safety brief in your language.
Thirty minutes through the terraces to the first pool.
About three hours: abseils, jumps, slides.
Back at the cars around 15:00.
