How It All Started
It began by accident. A rainy day in the mountains, plans falling apart, and a local guide who — instead of sympathy — suggested something we’d never even heard of: canyoning.
That first descent into a canyon changed everything. Shafts of light cutting through cracks in the rock, the roar of water, and the raw wildness of a place most people don’t even know exists.
When we stood on the edge of that first waterfall, we knew we’d found something far bigger than a sport. We’d found a passion.
What Happened Next
Over the following years, we explored canyons across Europe. Every single one was different — one demanded technique, another courage, and a third, humility in the face of nature.
Over time, we started bringing others along, sharing what fascinated us so deeply.
The Reactions
The response was always the same — wonder, fear crushed by adrenaline, and the inability to stop talking about it.
Today, WP Journeys represents hundreds of hours spent in canyons and thousands of moments where nature reminded us who’s really in charge. Every trip carries a piece of that journey. Because in a canyon, there’s no room for routine — every descent is unique.
Why We Do This
We do this because canyoning taught us that the most beautiful places are hidden where most people will never reach.
